Sunday School is held at 11:00 am at the North Alton Church. Between 35 and 40 students from pre-school to grade 12 learn about God’s word and participate in many special activities including crafts, skits, music, games, movies and snacks. |

Awana is held Friday evenings at 6:00 pm at the North Alton Church. Cubbies are pre-school (age 3 and 4), Sparks are Grades Primary , 1 and 2, T&T are Grades 3, 4, 5, and 6. |

Trek and Journey are held Friday evenings at 7:15 pm at the North Alton Church. Trek are Grades 7 & 8. Journey are Grades 9, 10, 11 and 12. Many of these young people help as Leaders in the Awana program. |

September 9 Awana starts! 16 Corn Boil & Hot Dog BBQ Everyone welcome! 23 Regular Awana 30 Regular Awana Trading Post October 7 Bubble Gum Contest begins - For each section passed, clubbers earn one piece of “bubble gum” in their team color. The team with the fullest bubble gum machine at the end of the contest wins! 14 Noah’s Ark Night - Dress up as a favorite animal (Bubble Gum Contest continues) 21 Bubble Gum Contest continues 28 Bubble Gum Contest ends November 4 Awana Fever Night - Clubbers come dressed in their team color 11 No Awana (Remembrance Day) 18 Regular Awana 25 Practice for Christmas concert Trading Post December 2 Christmas concert 9 No Awana (Storm date for Christmas concert) 16 No Awana (Christmas Break) 23 No Awana (Christmas Break) 30 No Awana (Christmas Break) January 6 Snowman Contest begins - Each team will build a snowman out of cotton balls. Each team receives a cotton ball for each section clubbers pass. The team with the “fattest” snowman wins. 13 Birthday Night - Everyone can enjoy a piece of cake decorated for the season in which they were born (Snowman Contest continues) 20 Crazy Clubber Night - Wear crazy clothes, shoes, hair (Snowman Contest continues) 27 Snowman Contest ends Trading Post February 3 When I Grow Up Night - Everyone dresses as the person they want to be when they grow up 10 Visit Evergreen Nursing Home - Parents are asked to please transport their children to and from the Nursing Home 17 Race Car Contest begins - Each team will have a car in their team color. The car will move along the track 1 km for every section passed. The team whose car goes the farthest wins! 24 Race Car Contest continues Trading Post March 2 Grand Prix 9 Race Car Contest ends 16 No Awana (March Break) 23 Coin Drive Night 30 Coin Drive Night Ice Cream Contest begins - For every section passed, clubbers will earn a “scoop of ice cream” for their team. The team with the tallest ice cream wins. Trading Post April 6 No Awana (Good Friday) 13 Dress Your Dog Night Everyone decorates a hot dog at home and brings in it to Awana 20 Ice Cream Contest continues 27 Ice Cream Contest ends Trading Post May 4 Awana Banquet - The whole family is invited to see their children receive their awards they have worked so hard to earn.
